SUNGAI SIPUT: An 81-year-old grandmother survived an eight-day ordeal in the jungle after going missing from home.
Ensah Pandak Mat Yasin was found by a rubber tapper in a durian orchard in Changkat Salak yesterday after she was reported missing from her nephew’s home in her hometown of Karai, 4km away, on Jan 28.
“Aku nak balik, aku nak balik (I want to go home),” Ensah pleaded repeatedly when policemen rushed to the durian orchard at 11.20am upon being told that she had been found.
